After concentrating on this and that...I think the time has come for me to focus on two of my prized possession in this world...like they say, children do grow up very fast and before you know it, they are already leading a life of their own...

Melaka - a historic city, the root of Malaysia's heritage and history. Melaka is a living museum and a walk down its old, crowded street is like travelling back in time. Most of the historical artefacts and landmarks are still standing today, a testimony to its rich cultural and historical background.

It has been quite some time that I had the time to do what I like best...taking a stroll at night and absorbing all the beautiful scenes, sounds and others. Personally speaking, there is no other better time to enjoy any place...be it a big city or a small town, than at night...

Putrajaya, the new Federal Government Administrative Centre, was officially opened in 1998, aimed at centralising all the Government departments and agencies in one area apart from moving them out of the congested Kuala Lumpur. It covers an area of about 4,931 hectares and is situated 25 kilometres from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur in the north and 20 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at Sepang in the south.

Other than the Putra Mosque, another building which commands equal, if not more, respect and awe is none other than the Perdana Putra building.

The Perdana Putra building stands about 50 metres above sea-level and overlooks the Putrajaya Lake. The natural stone clad building with its green pitched roof and onion-shaped main dome, surrounded by four smaller domes forms the distinctive land mark of Putrajaya.

Apart from the Prime Minister's office, which this building is known for, it also houses the office of the Deputy Prime Minister apart from the Ministers and Deputy Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department. It also houses the offices of the Chief Secretary to the Government, Implementation Coordination Unit, Science Advisor's Office, Special Technology Unit and the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MiGHT).
